Pagoda Restaurant – Tiberias Israel – with Villa Rimona

One of the things we love about being in Yavne’el is that it is so close to Tiberias and everything it has to offer. We’ll pop into town to do errands a couple of times a week. Recently we took time out to try the Pagoda Restaurant. It is right on the lake. Because everything on the menu is NOT mehadrin, we had to first speak to the mashgiach and pick and choose our items from the menu. Klezmer Music Festival in Tsfat

Last week was the Klezmer Music Festival in Tzfat. People come from all over Israel (and the world) for the mult-day event. There are bands everywhere throughout the Old City of Tzfat. Vendors sell cotton candy, crepes and other fast food while jewelers and artists display their work. It is hard to find accommocations in Tsfat so we had guests and relatives stay in our Zimmers at Villa Rimona in Yavne’el. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Tzfat from Yavniel. Mi VeMoo Dairy Farm in Yavne’el

Chana and I took a break this week when our neighbor Laura invited us to visit one of the local attractions that would be of interest to our Zimmer guests. Her friend Daphna organizes visits to her family dairy farm cald “Mi ve Moo.” We had a great time. The farm is state of the art and one robot milks the entire herd of cows!
